Katherine Brown has been Medical Director of Illawarra Sexual Health Service since 1995. She is a Past President of the RACP Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine. She is a Fellow of the RCPA Faculty of Clinical Forensic Medicine. She was Area Clinical Stream Director for South East Sydney and Illawarra in Population Health and Primary Health Care 2006-2009 and is currently Medical Director for Ambulatory and Primary Care in the Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD with oversight of clinical services in sexual health, sexual assault, women’s health and youth health. Katherine is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wollongong and the University of Sydney with a strong interest in health education, particularly the development and implementation of postgraduate online learning activities. Her private practice interests include genital dermatology and pain as well as reproductive health and sexual function.
